Today is Friday!  We just took our spelling test and we hope that we all made a 100!!  Today we also go to the library and we get to buy stuff at the school store!

We had a fire drill this morning too!  We are ready to have fun today and work really hard so that our brains get even smarter!!!!

Thursday, September 27th

yesterday we went to the Yeargen Art Museum. We had a wonderful time!  We made art, watched two movies, and looked at instruments and art.

Sugar Cube Experiment

Yesterday we performed an experiment on changing states of matter.  We used sugar cubes, sandpaper, plates, goggles, and our science journals.  We used the sandpaper to change the sugar cube from a cube to a sphere.  Here are the pictures!

Septmember 20, 2012- Ice Experiment

Today we performed an experiment with ice.  We hypothesized that our ice would melt by the time we got back from specials.  Actually the ice didn't melt all the way. Here is the video of our experiment.  Enjoy!

Also- our field trip is next Wednesday the 26th.  Mr. Jacob and Mrs. Wright (Mrs. Cox's mom) will come on the trip with us!  We are so excited!

We just had a long weekend.  We had Monday off too!  We went swimming, went to Georgia, went to a party, went to the movies, and went to Sea World!  We had a GREAT time!

This week we are going to continue to learn about fiction.  We will read amazing books, we will go to the library for the first time this week, and our brains are going to explode with new learning!!!!
